Mr. Ramstad is a reporter in the Seoul bureau of the Wall Street Journal with 25 years of experience in journalism. He began his journalism career as a reporter for the Associated Press in 1987, reporting from Texas, Minnesota, Washington, D.C., and New York. He joined the Wall Street Journal in 1996 and has since worked in Texas, Hong Kong, and Seoul. He has been covering Korean issues since 2006. Mr. Ramstad received a B.A. in political science and journalism from Trinity University, San Antonio.
