Shen Peng

Dr. Shen is a Research Fellow of Institute of American Studies at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) in Beijing, China. He previously worked for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China during 2002-2004, and as an editor at CCTV-NEWS (English Channel) during 2005-2006. Dr. Shen has been a speaker at many conferences organized by Chinese and international institutions and his opinion or comments have appeared in media sources such as the People’s Daily, China Radio International etc. Dr. Shen is one of the authors of The US Foreign Policy-Making Process (Beijing: China Social Sciences Press, 2011). Dr. Shen received an M.A. and a Ph.D. in International Politics from the China Foreign Affairs University.
