Mr. Pomper is a senior research associate at the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies (CNS). His work focuses on nuclear energy, nuclear non-proliferation, nuclear security, and nuclear arms control. Previously, he served as the editor-in-chief of Arms Control Today; was the lead foreign policy reporter for CQ Weekly and Legi-Slate News Service, where he covered the full range of national security issues before Congress; and was a foreign service officer with the U.S. Information Agency.
