Ms. Hinderstein is the vice president of the international program at the Nuclear Threat Initiative (NTI), where she leads efforts related to building norms, regimes and frameworks for global nuclear non-proliferation and security. She also serves on the boards of directors of the World Institute for Nuclear Security (WINS) and the Institute for Science and International Security (ISIS), where she worked as the deputy director and as a senior analyst. She is also a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Previously, she was a former member of the international executive committee of the Institute of Nuclear Materials Management (INMM). She is the editor of Cultivating Confidence: Verification, Monitoring, and Enforcement for a World Free of Nuclear Weapons. She received her B.A. from Clark University.
