Mr. Nakajima is senior research fellow in the Research Division at the Economic Research Institute for Northeast Asia (ERINA). He has been working for ERINA since 1997 where his field of expertise is international trade. He previously worked at Tokai Research & Consulting Inc. in Tokyo from 1991 to 1997. He was a part-time lecturer at Niigata Sangyo University (1999-2003), at Senshu University (2003-2004), and at Niigata Sanyo University (2004-2012). His most recent publication is “APEC: The Future Prospects for a Bridge Spanning the Pacific” in the Journal of Northeast Asia Development. Mr. Nakajima holds both a B.A and M.A in economics from Senshu University, and an M.A. in economics from Boston University.
