Mr. Gillet is the Asia senior vice president of the Back End Business Group-AREVA. Previously, he has been the director of AREVA’s operations in Brazil and South America, commercial director of AREVA’s back end operations and recycling operations, and director of International Projects in France for the Group`s recycling operations. Mr. Gillet began his career with the AREVA Group in the engineering division. In 1993, he was assigned to Japan supervising the transfer of AREVA technology to JNFL in connection with the construction of the Rokkasho-Mura used fuel recycling plant. Returning to France in 1995, Philippe Gillet was a business manager of international MOX fuel marketing. In 1998, once again in Japan, he was in charge of AREVA business development in the country. In May 2011, he was in charge of supporting TEPCO within the context of operations related to the Fukushima Daiichi plant accident. He is a graduate of the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Industries Chimiques de Nancy (ENSIC).
