A high-level delegation from the National Defence Studies Institute (NDSI) of the Kingdom of Thailand, including senior generals of the Royal Thai Armed Forces, visited the Asan Institute for Policy Studies on January 15, 2015 as part of their 2015 ASEAN Security Academic Cooperation Road Show for a roundtable with Asan Institute experts to discuss issues of mutual interest and explore prospects for research project partnerships. Topics addressed during the meeting included North Korea’s nuclear program, Korean reunification, South Korea and Thailand’s alliance relations with the United States, and China’s foreign policy pertaining to Northeast Asia and the South China Sea.
