On May 17th, 2016, the Asan Institute for Policy Studies hosted a closed roundtable with the Threat Reduction Advisory Committee (TRAC). Key issues discussed included the intersection of China with security issues in Korea and Chinese intervention in an event of crisis or conflict on the Korean peninsula. The comparative cases of North Korea and Iran were also raised with regards to security and nuclear nonproliferation concerns.
