A. Greer Meisels

New Asian Initiatives Associate, Wilson Center
China and ASEAN

Ms. Meisels is the New Asian Initiatives Associate at the Wilson Center and an adjunct fellow at the Center for the National Interest where she previously served as associate project director and research fellow for China and the Pacific. She also worked as the assistant project director for the Forum on Asia-Pacific Security at the National Committee on American Foreign Policy, as a visiting lecturer at China Foreign Affairs University in Beijing, and at the International Peace Institute as well as the International Crisis Group. Ms. Meisels is a member of the Pacific Forum CSIS Young Leaders program and is currently their D.C.-based Chapter Coordinator. She has also been selected as a non-resident Sasakawa Peace Foundation Fellow and a James A. Kelly Korean Studies Fellow. Ms. Meisels graduated from Harvard University with a Masters degree in Chinese politics and foreign policy and received her B.A. from Hunter College majoring in political science.
