Prof. Gilbert Rozman has edited the on-line, bi-monthly journal, The Asan Forum, since 2013. Prior to that, he was on the faculty of Princeton University from 1970, retiring with emeritus status as the Musgrave Professor of Sociology in June 2013. He began Korean studies in 2000, spending semesters as a visiting professor at Yonsei University and Seoul National University. Prof. Rozman specializes in Northeast Asia, ranging from comparisons of national identities to analysis of strategic thinking and bilateral relations. Prof. Rozman received a B.A. in Chinese and Russian studies from Carleton College after spending his junior year in the Critical Languages Program at Princeton and a Ph.D. in Sociology from Princeton University.
