Professor Chang is a professor of nuclear and quantum engineering at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). He is also the chairman of the board of trustees of the Korea Institute of Nuclear Safety (KINS) and a committee member of President-elect Park Geun-hye’s transition team. Previously, he served as the president of the Korean Nuclear Society; a provost at KAIST; and the commissioner for Korea Nuclear Safety Commissioner. He received his B.A. from Seoul National University and his M.A. and Ph.D. from MIT.
