On Friday, November 15th, 2019, the AAIPS Gallery of the Asan Institute for Policy Studies opened a photography exhibition, 1989 Velvet Revolution – The Fall of the Iron Curtain, organized by the embassies of the four Visegrád countries – the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary – in Seoul. Following congratulatory remarks by Chairman HAN Sung-Joo and Czech Ambassador Gustav Slamečka, central Europe’s ambience embodied in the photographs were described by each country’s representative – Polish Ambassador Piotr Ostaszewski, Hungarian Ambassador Mózes Csoma, German Ambassador Stephan Auer, Bulgarian Ambassador Petar Andonov, Slovak Ambassador Ján Kuderjavý, Romanian Deputy Head of Mission Costin Ionescu, and the Czech Ambassador. This exhibition will run until December 1st, 2019.
