Dr. Kim is the vice president of the Korea Economic Institute (KEI) in Washington D.C. and director of the Academy of Korea Policy Outreach, an educational subsidiary of KEI. He previously served as research manager of government services and lead Korea analyst at the Eurasia Group. He also previously served as a policy analyst at the Science Application International Corporation, the Center for Strategic and International Studies, and was a researcher at the Weatherhead Institute at Columbia University. Dr. Kim received a B.A. in international relations from Boston University, an M.A. from Harvard University, and a Ph.D. in political science from Columbia University.
