Art at the Asan Institute for Policy Studies (AAIPS) is pleased to present an “As it is”, 100 plus works by Kim Dae-hyun, Kim, Hyung-tae, and Choi, Wonoo.

Diagnosed with intellectual disabilities, these three artists have developed an intensive body of work that presents a world simply their own. These extraordinary paintings and drawings take the form of accumulations of everyday motifs, markings and colors that result in dynamic, yet highly disciplined works of art. These works intuitively combine both conceptual and expressive approaches, to create a truly idiosyncratic hybrid form.
