On August 30, 2019, the Asan Institute for Policy Studies hosted a closed roundtable with the delegation from embassies of 5 European countries (Denmark, Finland, Germany, Norway, Sweden) in Seoul. The participants discussed about the strained Korea-Japan relations, and prospects of Korea’s short-term and long-term foreign policy direction in respect to developing situation in Northeast Asia.
