On May 30, 2019, The Asan Institute for Policy Studies hosted a closed roundtable with Dr. Lassina Zerbo, Executive Secretary of the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty(CTBTO). The Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty is multilateral treaty that bans all nuclear explosions, for both civilian and military purposes, in all environments. The participants held an in-depth discussion on the current situation of Korean peninsula. They also analyzed nuclear tests North Korea has conducted in the past and exchanged ideas on how CTBTO can play for the denuclearization process in North Korea.
