On Wednesday, February 17, the Asan Institute for Policy Studies held a Roundtable with Glen S. Fukushima, Senior Fellow at the Center for American Progress (CAP). The discussion topic was on “The 2016 US Presidential Election and US-East Asian Relations.” Unique characteristics of the 2016 U.S. Presidential Campaign, prospects for the next U.S. administration, the status of U.S. Asia policy (i.e., the “Asia pivot/Rebalance”), and Asia’s possible role in the election campaign were discussed.
