On September 5, 2019, the Asan Institute for Policy Studies hosted a closed roundtable with Dr. Róbert Ondrejcsák, State Secretary of Defence of the Slovak Republic. The participants discussed the current situation in the Korean Peninsula and Northeast Asia and analyzed the factors for the region’s growing arms race, such as the rise of China, the United States and Russia’s withdrawal from the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty.
