Asan Roundtable with the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Delegation

On September 21, 2018, the Asan Institute for Policy Studies hosted a closed roundtable with a delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway. Including Amb. Svein Sæther, the special Envoy on Korean Affairs and a former ambassador to China, Amb. Frode Solberg, the ambassador to Korea and Ms. Idun Tvedt, the special representative for the Philippines, the delegation had a conversation with the Asan researchers about recent developments regarding peace and security in the Northeast Asia, ROK’s role as facilitator in the dialogue between US and DPRK and assessments and predictions regarding denuclearization of the Korean peninsula.
