Dr. HAHM Chaibong, the Director of the Asan Institute for Policy Studies, presented at the Council on Foreign Relations on March 2^nd, 2011. The topic of the Roundtable discussion was “Keeping Northeast Asia Abnormal: The U.S. Alliance System and the Rise of China.” Dr. Hahm provided a Korean view of the implications of China’s rise for the U.S.-ROK alliance and security in East Asia.
