The Asan Institute for Policy Studies (President Hahm Chai Bong) hosted the closed workshop titled “East Asia Community and Regional Cooperation” at its 2nd floor conference room.
The closed workshop was moderated by Professor Park Sa Myung (Kangwon National University). Eight presenters and seven discussants gathered to discuss numerous issues related to regional cooperation in East Asia. Particularly, the experts debated on how America’s East Asia foreign policy and the rise of China would influence cooperation in the region and analyzed the future direction of the East Asia Summit.
