Dr. Cheng is an Associate Professor in the School of International Studies at Renmin University of China. His main research focus lies in the field of China’s foreign relations. Dr. Cheng was previously a Visiting Research Fellow in the Fairbank Center at Harvard University (1997-1998). He also taught China’s politics and foreign policy at Dublin College University (2007) and China’s foreign relations at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor (2009). His recently published articles focus on China’s relations with the Korean Peninsula and the Indian subcontinent. Dr. Cheng received his B.A. in international politics from Fudan University and Ph.D. in political science from Boston University.
