Mr. Nam is Director of the Global Affairs Team and International Correspondent at the JoongAng Media Network. He specializes in international affairs covering a wide range of topics from celebrity interviews to national security issues. Since joining The JoongAng Ilbo in 1989, he has worked as a correspondent in Brussels (1994-1995), London (1995-1997), and New York (2005-2009). While covering the UN in New York, he was elected to the position of Vice President of the United Nations Correspondent Association (2008). He also served as a committee member of the Kwanhun Club, the most prestigious senior journalist organization in Korea. Recently, he was selected as a Jefferson Fellow of the East West Center, Hawaii. Mr. Nam holds a B.A. in economics from Seoul National University and an M.Sc. in international relations from the London School of Economics.
