Dr. Wang is the Assistant President of China Foreign Affairs University. Previously, he was a Visiting Professor in the Department of Political Science in the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University and also served in the Chinese Embassy in the United Kingdom. Professor Wang is as expert on East Asia security cooperation, US foreign policy toward Asia and Sino-US relations. His academic interests also include Contemporary Chinese Foreign Policy, Issues related to the Korean Peninsula, Chinese strategy and the China School of international relations theory. He received his B.A. in information management from Peking University, M.A. in international relations from the University of International Relations, and his Ph.D. in international relations from China Foreign Affairs University.
