Dr. Ozkan is the deputy director of the Eurasian Department at the Ankara-based think-tank, International Strategic Research Organization. Dr. Ozkan is also a lecturer at the Necmettin Erbakan University in Turkey in the Department of International Relations. His research interests are security and foreign policy issues in Eurasia and the Middle East. Dr. Ozkan has written a number of academic articles and gives expert opinion on security and foreign policy issues for international media. He holds a B.A in international relations from the Faculty of Political Sciences at the University of Ankara and an M.A. and Ph.D. in international relations and security from the University of Sheffield.
