On July 22-23 and September 5-6, 2013, the Asan Institute for Policy Studies and the Asia Foundation organized two seminars on “Lessons from Asia’s Economic Transition” in Mongolia and Vietnam, respectively.

The first seminar was co-hosted with the Mongolian Development Research Center (MDRC) in Ulaanbaataar, Mongolia.

The second seminar was co-hosted with the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam (DAV) in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Economic development experts shared the experience of economic transition in Mongolia, Vietnam, China, Laos, Myanmar, Taiwan and South Korea.
