The Asan Institute for Policy Studies, Partnership for Global Security, and The Stanley Foundation jointly held the 2nd Nuclear Security Governance Experts Group (NSGEG) workshop entitled “Building Transparency in Nuclear Security” in London on September 12, 2012. NSGEG was launched by the three organizations above and held its first workshop on improving nuclear security regime cohesion in Seoul on the last July.
Discussions in the second workshop were focused on ways for improving information sharing in the current nuclear security regime, migrating safety and safeguards mechanisms to nuclear security, incentivizing in a nuclear security system, and protecting information in a more transparent environment.
