Dr. Park is emeritus professor of Korea National Diplomatic Academy and advisor professor of the graduate school at Shandong University. He was previously an associate professor at Chinese Culture University (1972-1975), professor (1979-2005) and director of the research department (1994-1996) at the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security as well as a visiting professor at the University of Kansas, Claremont College, and Hamburg Asian Studies. Dr. Park received an honorary Ph.D. in law from Taiwan’s Ministry of Education (1974). He received a B.A. and an M.A in political science and international relations from Kyung Hee University and a Ph.D. in law from Chinese Culture University.
