On September 26, 2014, Shephard W. Hill, president of Boeing International and senior vice president of Business Development and Strategy, visited the Asan Insitute for Policy Studies for a roundtable discussion with Asan’s in-house experts. South Korea is a vital market as it is one of the top ten largest international markets for Boeing in the commercial aviation, defense and industrial partnerships. To assess the growth potential in these sectors, Mr. Hill listened to Asan’s experts explaining the dynamics of the Northeast Asia region. Topics discussed were Korean reunification, Korea‘s relationship with its neighbors, and the future of the ROK-US alliance.
