In early 2013 the European Union published its much awaited Cyber Security Strategy. What can European’s expect from the strategy, going forward? What are the key challenges facing those charged with implementing it? This short overview will present a constructive analysis of how EU policy is reacting to cyber security risks, ranging from organised criminals to the Advanced Persistent Threat and emergent concerns such as the Internet of Things (IoT).
