Ms. Sohn has been the CEO of the Korea International Broadcasting Foundation (Arirang TV & Radio) since 2011. Her career as a journalist started by working for the New York Times as a reporter from 1992 to 1994, and she was then CNN’s Seoul bureau chief and correspondent from 1995 to 2009. She served as the spokesperson of the Presidential Committee for the Seoul G20 Summit 2010, and she was a presidential secretary of the office of overseas public relations at the executive office of the president from 2010 to 2011. Ms. Sohn received her B.A. in political science and international relations from Ewha Womans University in 1985. She graduated from Yonsei University in 2011 with an M.A. in journalism and mass communication.
