On Thursday, June 4, 2015, the Asan Institute for Policy Studies hosted a briefing session for a visiting delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Dr. Hahm Chaibong, president of the Asan Institute, began with a briefing on the current Northeast Asian security environment. Dr. Kim Jiyoon, director of the Center for Public Opinion and Quantitative Research, next delivered a presentation on Korean public opinion vis-à-vis neighboring countries and regional security dynamics. Finally, Dr. Jang Ji-Hyang, director of the Center for Regional Studies, spoke on Korea’s relations with the Middle East and Korea’s growing international profile.
