Dr. Kim Jinwoo is the Executive Director of Operations and Director, Office of Strategy and Analysis at the Asan Institute for Policy Studies. He has worked in the policy, military and intelligence communities as a Senior Analyst at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. He has advised STRATCOM and NATO on nuclear deterrence and strike operations. Prior to this position, he was Senior Advisor for Intelligence to the Assistant Secretary of State for Verification, Compliance, and Implementation (VCI), Department of State. Before joining the State Department, he was the Special Assistant to Andrew Marshall at the Office of Net Assessment, Office of the Secretary of Defense. He was educated at Georgetown, Harvard and Yale.
