Dr. Dalnoki-Veress is a scientist-in-residence at the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies (CNS). He is also an adjunct professor at the Monterey Institute of International Studies. He developed simulations of novel detection schemes for checking the declared HEU inventories of naval-reactor cores; conducted a study for the United Kingdom addressing the self-protection of HEU spent fuel; and is now conducting research for NNSA on the post-conversion productivity of former HEU research reactors. He received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in high energy physics from Carleton University in Canada.
