Dr. Song is the president and CEO of the Korea Radioactive Waste Management Corporation. Previously, he was a nuclear engineer at the Korea Electric Power Corporation; the president of the Nuclear Environment Technology Institute; and vice president in charge of radioactive waste management and nuclear power plant operation and maintenance at the Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Corporation. He received his Ph.D. in health physics from the University of Michigan.
