Professor Chae-Jin Lee is Visiting Research Fellow at the Asan Institute for Policy Studies. He received his B.A. in Political Science from Seoul National University and his Ph.D. in Political Science from University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). He has taught at University of Kansas, University of Washington, University of California at San Diego, U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, California State University at Long Beach, Pomona College, and Korea National Diplomatic Academy. He is Bank of America Professor of Pacific Basin Studies and Professor Emeritus of Government at Claremont McKenna College and Guest Professor at the School of International and Public Affairs of Jilin University (China). Professor Chae-Jin Lee is a specialist of U.S. relations with East Asia (Korea, China, and Japan) and has published a number of books on East Asia’s domestic politics and foreign affairs
