Lee Chung Min

Dean, Graduate School of International Studies ; Yonsei University

Professor Lee became Dean of the Graduate School of International Studies, Yonsei University, on August 1, 2008. He joined Yonsei University in 1998 after a decade at leading think tanks in Korea, the United States, and Japan, including the RAND Corporation, the Sejong Institute, and the National Institute for Defense Studies (Tokyo). Professor Lee is a specialist in East Asian security, crisis management, and intelligence. He is a frequent commentator on inter-Korean and Northeast Asian security issues, including on CNN, BBC, ABC, and for leading newspapers in the United States, Europe, and East Asia. Currently a member of the Presidential Council for Future & Vision, Professor Lee has served on numerous advisory committees in the ROK government. He received his B.A. in political science from Yonsei University and his M.A.L.D. and Ph.D. in international security studies from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.
