Liu Ming

Dr. Liu is a Professor and Executive Director of the Institute of International Relations Studies and Director of the Center for Korea Studies at the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences (SASS). He has also been a Visiting Scholar at Columbia University, Seoul National University, and Stanford University. Over his twenty-two year career, Dr. Liu has contributed extensively to several leading Canadian and South Korean , including “Opportunities and Challenges for Sino-American Cooperation on the Korean Peninsula” (The Korean Journal of Defense Analysis) and “China and the North Korean Crisis: Facing Test and Transition” (Pacific Affairs). Dr. Liu received his Ph.D. from the World Economy Institute, Fudan University.
