Participant Biographies

Mo Jongryn

Mo Jongryn

Senior Research Fellow and Director, Center for Global Governance ; The Asan Institute for Policy Studies

Dr. Mo is Senior Research Fellow and the Director of the Center for Global Governance at the Asan Institute for Policy Studies and Vice President for International Affairs at Yonsei University. He also maintains non-residence affiliations with the Hoover Institution and Stanford University. From 2004 to 2008, he served as the founding Dean of the Underwood International College at Yonsei University. Prior to joining Yonsei in 1996, he was an Assistant Professor of government at the University of Texas at Austin. He currently serves on a number of advisory committees for the Korean government, including the Presidential Council on National Competitiveness. Dr. Mo holds a B.A. in economics from Cornell University and a Ph.D. in business (political economics) from Stanford University.
