Hayoun Jessie Ryou

Ms. Ryou is currently a doctoral student in political science at George Washington University, with China as her research focus. She worked at several institutions in Korea such as the Korea Institute for Defense Analysis, the Korea Institute for National Unification, the Sejong Institute, the Korea-China Think-Net, and the POSCO Research Institute. In India, she was a visiting fellow at the Institute for Defense Studies and Analysis, the Institute for Peace and Conflict Studies, and an associate fellow at the Observer Research Foundation. Ms. Ryou’s graduate thesis from the Graduate School of International Studies at Seoul National University is entitled, China’s Evolving Policy towards North Korean Nuclear Program. She is interested in Chinese security.
