Chang Hojin
Vice Minister Chang Hojin is currently serving as First Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea. Prior to assuming this position, he served as the Korean Ambassador to the Russian Federation (2022-2023). Previously, Vice Minister Chang was the Chair Professor at the Korea Maritime and Ocean University (2020-2022) and a Visiting Fellow at The Asan Institute for Policy Studies. He served as Foreign Policy Advisor to the Prime Minister (2014-2017), Secretary to the President for Foreign Affairs (2012-2013). Vice Minister Chang was also the Korean Ambassador to the Kingdom of Cambodia (2010-2012) and held earlier diplomatic postings in the United States, the Russian Federation, and Romania. Vice Minister Chang studied international relations (B.A.) and public administration (M.A.) at Seoul National University and international relations (M.A.) at the University of Cambridge.
