Narayanappa Janardhan

Dr. Narayanappa Janardhan is the Director of Research and Analysis at the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy in Abu Dhabi. He offers diplomats PGD, M.A., and executive training courses on Gulf and Asian foreign policies. He is a non-resident fellow at the Arab Gulf States Institute in Washington, D.C. and the Great Game Lab at Arizona State University, and was an adjunct faculty at the Paris School of International Affairs at Sciences Po. The last of Dr. Janardhan’s four books was The Arab Gulf’s Pivot to Asia: From Transactional to Strategic Partnerships (Gerlach Press, 2020). His next book–Gulf Middle Powers and Multialignment in a Multiplex World–is scheduled for publication in late 2025. He is part of several Track 2 and Track 1.5 initiatives and a regular contributor to international think tank activities, academic publications, and media outlets. Dr. Janardhan received his Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi.
