Prof. Su Hao is an Emeritus Professor at China Foreign Affairs University. He was also the acting chairman of the Department of Diplomacy, director of China’s Foreign Relations Section, general secretary of the East Asian Studies Center, and director of the Center for Asia-Pacific Studies at China Foreign Affairs University. He is the President of the Beijing Geopolitical Strategy and Development Association, a member of the Chinese Committee for Council of Security Cooperation in the Asia-Pacific and the Pacific Economic Cooperation Council, a board member of the China Association of Arms Control and Disarmament, the Pacific Society of China, the China Association of Asian-African Development Exchange, and the China Association of China-ASEAN. His specialties are China’s foreign and security policy, strategic studies, international relations in the Asia-Pacific region, and East Asian integration. Prof. Su also was a visiting professor at LUISS University, Italy (2015), Bond University, Australia (2014), and Uppsala University, Sweden (2004). Prof. Su received his B.A. in history and M.A. in international relations from Beijing Normal University. He then received his Ph.D. in international relations at China Foreign Affairs University.
