Session 2 - "Immigrants or Refugees?"

Ms. Lee Jasmine is the founder and executive director of the Korea Cultural Diversity Organization that manages the “Dream School” (2013~present), a self-development program for migrant women. She is the first foreign-born naturalized member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea (2012-2016). She is a member of the Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family. During which time she served as a member of different committees such as Foreign Affairs and Unification, Environment and Labor, and Gender Equality and Family Committee. She was one of the founding co-chairs of the International Parliamentary Coalition for Victims of Sexual Slavery (IPCVSS) along with members of parliament (MP) from the UK, New Zealand, Canada and the USA. She currently hosts 10 Everyday, an English FM radio program.
