Youn Kun young

The Honorable Mr. Youn Kun Young is a Member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea representing Guro-2nd District, Seoul. He is a member of the Foreign Affairs and Unification Committee and the Intelligence Committee. Previously, he was the Presidential Secretary for State Affairs Monitoring and Planning in the Office of the President (2017-2020). He was also a Special Envoy of President Moon Jae-in to North Korea. He was a member of the Taskforce on Korean Peninsula Matters for the Democratic Party of Korea. Previously, he was also Secretary of State and Political Affairs Planning in the Office of the President during the Roh Moo-hyun administration. Mr. Youn received his Bachelor of Arts in Commerce and Trade, and a Master of Arts in Commerce and Finance from Kookmin University.
