TwitterProfessor Buis is a professor at the University of Buenos Aires Law School, the Central University (UNICEN), and the School of National Defense in Argentina. Previously, he was a legal advisor on non-proliferation, disarmament and export control at the Direction of International Security, Nuclear and Space Affairs in the Ministry of Foreign Relations, International Trade and Worship. His research interests include the history and origins of international law and the law of armed conflicts. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Buenos Aires.
