Upcoming Events

The Asan Institute for Policy Studies will host Dr. Ian Bremmer on Tuesday, March 4, 2014. For the first time since the financial crisis, headline economic risks—such as a potential Eurozone collapse, Chinese hard landing, or American debt crisis—have taken a backseat to predominantly political concerns. Ian Bremmer will focus on the world’s latest geopolitical flashpoints, weaving them into the broader risk context that will drive debate for the coming months. What does the United States’ waning foreign policy engagement mean for its allies and the world’s most tumultuous regions? Who are the winners and losers among emerging markets? Where will recent unrest and political uncertainty impact markets, and where might we see political turmoil strike next?

*This event is by invitation only.
*Simultaneous English/Korean interpretation will be provided.
*Due to limited parking spaces available, we kindly ask that you use the nearby parking space at the Seoul Museum of History or use public transportation to the Asan Institute if at all possible.

Please RSVP to Mr. Lee Seunghyuk by Sunday, March 2, 2014 with your name, affiliation, position, and contact information (seung.lee@asaninst.org. / 02-3703-7325)
