Dr. Yang is Assistant Research Fellow at the Division of Asia-Pacific Studies, Institute of International Relations at the National Chengchi University in Taiwan. He is also the Executive Secretary of CSCAP Taiwan and the Executive Editor of Journal of Strategic and Security Analysis. Dr. Yang teaches in the International Master Program of Asia-Pacific (NCCU), Graduate Institute of Southeast Asian Studies (NCNU), and Department of Political Science (SCU). In 2011, he received the SUSI fellowship on U.S. foreign policy from the U.S. State Department and was Visiting Professor in the Department of Political Science, University of Florida. Dr. Yang is working on international relations theory, ASEAN and regionalism, Southeast Asian border politics, environmental governance, and the soft power politics of China`s Confucius Institutes.
