Ms. Meisels is a graduate student at Harvard University, pursuing a master’s degree from the Regional East Asia Studies Program. Previously, she served as assistant project director at the Forum on Asia-Pacific Security at the National Committee on American Foreign Policy. In that capacity, she managed projects concerning the United States, China, and cross-Strait relations, multilateral cooperation for a de-nuclearized Korean Peninsula, and the U.S. alliances with Japan and South Korea. She received an Asia fellowship from Princeton, enabling her to serve as a visiting lecturer at the China Foreign Affairs University in Beijing. She has been a member of the Young Leaders Program at Pacific Forum CSIS since 2007 and is currently both a non-resident Kelly Fellow and a Sasakawa Peace Foundation Fellow. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude from Hunter College.
