Brian Rose is a program specialist at USIP. He has worked on nuclear policy issues since 2008 including service on the staff of the Congressional Commission on the Strategic Posture of the United States, a bipartisan body headed by former Defense Secretaries William Perry and James Schlesinger. Rose is actively involved with the USIP Korea Working Group, and has participated in two recurring Track 1.5 projects on Northeast Asian security issues ? the U.S.-China Project on Crisis Avoidance and Cooperation (PCAC) and the U.S.-South Korea-Japan Trilateral Dialogue in Northeast Asia (TDNA). Rose holds a bachelor’s in political science from St. Mary`s College of Maryland, where he focused on nuclear strategy and policy.
